Here I am- Linda, 21 years old, postgraduate student at the University of Sussex- starting my first blog...I am not new to the world of social media- being a regular Facebook and Twitter user- but this seems like a whole new experience to me. Yes, I am used to share my life on social network sites such as Facebook and Twitter- but in short statuses/140 characters. But let's get started...Here you go:
So for my first blog post, I decided to show my 'Life Journey so far', showing where my life has taken me so far and maybe where I see myself in the future. Inspired by Facebook's timeline I want to create my own 'updated' timeline with places I've been and the memories I share with them.
Maybe not being the most unique idea, I think each person should express their own memorable moments rather then a social network deciding what might be an important memory for a person (depending on how many 'likes' a picture/ video gets). I will try to compose my own, personal 'Timeline' using Dipity as well as Google Maps to create 'My life journey so far...'.
